5 simple ways to incorporate meditation in your life
I know how hard it is to start a new habit / or a new routine. When it comes to meditation it's no different. Although mediation is a spiritual practice that your soul is yearning for, it is still a matter of getting your routines adjusted to incorporate meditation in your day-to-day life.
I would tell you to use the five tips I have for you to make this process smoother:
1) start small - by saying small I mean as small as you need. It is very counter intuitive, it seems to be so easy to sit cross legged for a period of time and think about nothing and relax. But i's not. Everyone who has just been initiated reports the same - they can barely stand any moment the first time. One minute feels like eternity. Three minutes is rare amongst the beginners. 10 minutes is already an achievement for an intermediate meditator.
2) pick a time in the day for your meditation - start in the morning just after you wake up when your will power is strong. Also the bedtime just before falling asleep is the time when you are naturally prone to sway into meditative state. Given you don't fall asleep. This strategy can be picked if not too tired.
3) set a short trial period to incorporate this habbit - say 1-2 months.
4) set intention and grab a notebook; write doesn't how the experience makes you feel
